Vice Chancellor KUST
As a Vice Chancellor, it’s always my top priority to improve the Quality of educations and to further uplift the academic and research standards at Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) to be at par with international norms. A very proactive role of Quality Enhancement Cell of KUST by implementing the HEC defined standards has positively impacted on the university academics and innovative research. At KUST, we place great emphasis on optimal usage of the available resources without compromising on quality. Our programs and activities are not only structured to address the socio economic needs of the region but also have a modern orientation so that our graduates and faculty can compete internationally. Our focus is on excellence in teaching, high quality research, and community service. Our goal is to help our students become academically efficient; socially responsible; and intellectually productive citizens of the country and of the world.
Director QEC KUST
I as Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) am leading a team of quality professions with dedication to enhance and ensure the academic programs and research quality of Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST). The main object of the Directorate of Quality Enhancement KUST is to promote the culture of excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of the institute through implementation of robust Quality assurance mechanism at par with the guidelines provided by Higher Education Commission. The Quality Assurance mechanisms are conducted regularly and rigorously through evaluations followed by actionable recommendations for continuous improvements. The different activities of the directorate includes assessing teaching, monitoring program outcomes, assessing learning practices and capacity building of the faculty and support staff.
